Sweet cottage

The location is good. The cottage is 1 of 3 in the same house yet the individual units still lend a private feel about them almost like you have the whole house to yourself. Parking off street a plus. Clean, absolutely. The little attention to details were very much appreciated like start up toiletries and extra items in case you forgot a toothbrush. Water and a few snacks, coffee, laundry care items. The front porch rocking chairs welcomed us back each evening after long days boating and swimming on the SLR. Water views can be spotted in the distance from the front porch. Walkable to restaurants and boat docks. Perfect little place. We surely will return.

Our stay was great! The location of the cottage is perfect for walking around town. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a quick weekend trip. The pullout couch wasn’t the comfiest but that’s to be expected with those. Overall would highly recommend to others visiting Clayton!

Great cottage, clean, and perfect location!

My family had a great stay at the Cottage. When we arrived the place was exactly as pictured, and very clean! The property manager was very responsive, and check in could not have been any easier. We were in town for the Classic Wooden boat show, and the Cottage was walking distance to the show, restaurant, and shops. The cottage was equipped with a full kitchen, games for families to play blow dryers in both bathrooms , and the washer and dryer was a super score! My only recommendation would be to just male sure the little things like garbage bags, and dishwasher pods are stocked up for guests when they are arriving. There was only one garbage bag under the sink, and no dishwasher pods/detergent to be found. I had loaded the dishwasher to run it before we left, only to find no detergent. A few extra kitchen towels would be great as well. These things are all very minor, but will give the next guests who arrive an even better stay. Overall this place was amazing! We would absolutely recommend it to future renters, and would absolutely book this adorable, newly renovated cottage again. Thank you for a great stay!
