What a great place to kick back and watch kick-offs on a fall football weekend. Who needs a tailgate when you have a lake view, comfortable porches, and a boathouse porch? The living area was spacious and the bedrooms were comfy. Walking distance to a marina with boat rentals, a store, and an ice cream shop!

With a few attention to details this place would be a 4-5 across the board. Walking distance to marina (food/ive/etc) and at least one restaurant. 20 minutes to town of Clayton for ALL needs. Best lake in Georgia!

Lake Burton

Lake Burton never disappoints!! House was clean and comfortable and we had a great time with our grandkids. A few things that could have been better: - the door was a challenge to open. The digital lock required 10 digit code and it was difficult to open. No wifi was a challenge too because all the streaming services required a sign in - which required me to scan a QR code or input a code to confirm my accounts but I couldn’t sit to no WiFi Very frustrating

Nice and Cozy

This property is in a great location with great views of north Ga Mountains. Although we came during the fall/winter I would love to experience this spot during the summer. The only complaint I have is that the property requested no pets, however while lounging in the sitting area I stepped on something hard. Once I kicked it out of the rug (which that rug was super soft) I realized it was an old dried piece of dog feces. I have a picture for proof. I also found lots of long white and brown dog hair in the rug and in the couch. Overall the property was great and I would love to book again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful house on Lake Burton! Walking distance to anchorage marina so easy to get lunch, gorgeous boat house tucked back in a cove (water is cold!) and lovely outdoor space to take the views in!!!
