The cabin was as adorable in person as it was in the listing. It was very clean, well stocked, and perfect for a weekend getaway. It feels private, but is extremely close to downtown Clayton. Easy to get to coffee, shops, local shopping, and great restaurants. The check-in/out process was smooth, and communication was consistent and clear throughout the stay.

It was breathtaking. Inside, the cabin felt so warm and cozy—soft lighting, wood accents, and that “home away from home” feeling the second you walked in. Evenings were my favorite… watching the sunset paint the sky, then winding down with the people I love most. No rushing, no distractions—just slow, meaningful moments.Wonderful Host

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Possum Trot Cabin. It was quiet and relaxed which is exactly what we were hoping for. The house had everything we needed and then some as far as amenities, cookware, utensils, towels, blankets and anything else you could want. The location is perfect for staying away from town or going to it.
