"Where do I start. Received a call the day before arriving at the hotel to let me know the room I picked for our stay on this site hasn’t been available for a year due to a pipe burst. I was given a choice of two lesser rooms or if I didn’t like that I could cancel. The front desk had great attitude about this when expressing my concern over the reason I wanted the suite I picked. There was no compensation for downgrading me to a reg room from a suite. The room smelled like urine and was very musty. We had two towels in the room for 4 of us. We asked several employees to bring us up more towel, as well as the front desk who told us they didnt have any clean towels and that he would bring some to for us when they get cleaned which never happened. We had to physically go down on our last night there to ask yet again. During our stay, the toilet was horrible to use and overflowed twice, never had the towels she used replaced, nor did any housekeeper come into our room to clean the entire time we stayed there, three nights 4 days. The site also states they have a hot tub which is the sole reason I picked this hotel and was told they haven’t had one for 5years. Thoroughly disappointed in this Wyndham hotel. Do not stay here. "

"The room has a leak over the refrigerator and the tv in the bedroom didn’t work. The room was clean and the breakfast was fine. The exterior was unkempt with trash around!"

"2 days pending cruise. No soap/shampoo in shower on first day. Told housekeeper. 2nd day. No soap/shampoo in shower lol. Room was clean. Safe area. Staff help varied. ONLY TAP WATER OFFERED ON PROPERTY! Pool was clean but no one cleaned up after the day. Remnants of garbage in area. Breakfast was standard fare. Nice restaurant close. Works for short stay"

"The toilet paper and tissues were of very poor quality. The headboard of the bed in my room was all torn up. The bed was not made properly (top sheet on top of blanket instead of visa-versa) no coffee available until 7:00 am. I will NOT book a room in this motel for next year's Highland Games."

"The continental breakfast was perfect. Dtaff was pleasant and helpfull. Room seemed clean, other than the entry and bathroom doors were dirty/sticky. Beds were comfortable and clean, room did not smell musty like some of the reviews mention, but there were cigarette butts all over the parking lot. Could probably use outdoor ashtrays. I would stay again. "

"Under construction so no lobby kinda sucked but rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. Over all good price for the stay. Would stay again. "
