"The cabin #7, even though it was across the street from the lake had an incredible view, and there isn't much traffic on the road. If you prefer to be in a cabin on the lake side of the road be sure to inquire ahead of time. There are only a few cabins and some have much better views than others.
The bed in our cabin was very nice and comfy. The gas fireplace was really nice. We do feel like the cabins need a facelift. Especially new carpet (the carpet was very old and worn) or better yet wood floors. That would appear and feel cleaner.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall we sure enjoyed our stay.
Also, the restaurant across the street has delicious clam chowder as well as several kinds of salmon. We had the dill salmon and really enjoyed it."

10/10 Excellent
"Property: This is like a camp house. Not a lot of frills but excellent location.Location: Within 10 min drive to HOH park entrance. 30 min drive to Beach Four with excellent sea life to view in the low tide. Also within driving distance: Rialto Beach, Tree of Life and pretty much all of the beaches. Lake Quinault is also not too far and worth the drive. Food options: Forks is pretty limited. In my opinion cooking at the property is good idea. Grocery store is good quality. Additional positives: Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds. Cottonwood Park is a mile or two down the road, requires discovery pass but has direct access to the HOH river, I walked down. Oil City Trailhead is 19 min down the road but didn't get a chance to check it out. Has access to the beach. The washer and dryer were nice to allow us to clean our dirty clothes. Funny finds: There is a outhouse and outdoor shower"

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here the last two nights of our trip to Olympic National Park. The place was as described and so peaceful, quiet and relaxing with the view of the lake! We enjoyed sitting on the deck as much as the weather cooperated. My kids did enjoy the sauna!"
