The cabin was clean and cozy. The lake view/access and all the amenities were great! Only complaint was the cabin we booked was not available, so we had to switch to a different cabin.

This is a great place to stay, staff was great. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but the pool was great and the area of the lake was pretty quiet. The cabin was nice, we will be back.

This property was as genuine an experience at Lake of the Ozarks as it gets. It is remote and quiet with a restaurant, a pool, and very welcoming staff. There are cabins to suit the size of almost any family, a nice area to camp, and/or park an RV.

Summer Vacay

It was an alright experience. Very off the grid so you won’t have the typical tourist things to do. Beach is VERY small and pool is used by a lot.

Everything you need all right there, what more could you ask for! My family had a great time at the lake, the pool and hot tub was definitely a huge bonus for us. The band on saturday night was awesome as well as the food from the restaurant. Cabin was clean and made us all feel comfortable and gave us space to hang out as a family. Will definitely come back when we can! Thank you so much for our stay ❤️

For our honeymoon, my wife and I had a Mon-Fri 4 night stay in what the resort calls cabin 5, Expedia calls the design cabin. Just a couple of tiny details prevented us from rating 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. Positives: Incredible view of the lake from the cabin patio. Nice access to the water with a dock and little sandy beach. Pool and hot tubs are top notch and close walking distance. Bed was very comfortable, we have back trouble and are very picky about bed firmness and comfort. Nicely equipped kitchen. Great dining experience at Boondockz, also within easy walking distance. Cabin was clean although minimally appointed - the listing accurately pictured and described it more like a fishing trip cabin, it is NOT a condo or someone's home. It is a very quiet and remote location with the nearest store being a Dollar General about 25 min away. We enjoyed having our dog with us. So far, a perfect review. Lows: There are a few maintenance items which need attention with exterior doors not closing well and with the laminate floors curling up in some places. Given that there is a nice charcoal grill, we expected and didn't bring any seasoning for grilling. The only thing there was pepper. The little store didn't have any seasonings to buy. If we had known we would have brought our own. Communication was poor, phone calls and FB messages went unanswered. Overall, a perfect mini-moon stay. Would love to give a perfect review as we had a great time but have to say 4/5 or 8/10.

The resort is very nice. Our cabin’s upstairs bedrooms were a little warm at night ( it was in the mid 90s on two days we were there); may require separate units for upstairs and downstairs. The kids loved the pools and fishing off the dock. We had an incident with teenagers who weren’t supposed to be at the pool. But management handled that. The restaurant/bar food was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property was not really worth what we paid for it. The front doors lock was so hard to use. The back door did not lock at all. The dishes were thrown back in the drawer dirty. The front desk was very friendly.

Arrived and was given literally zero direction on getting into our cabin, expectations or process of needs for the week. First night we spent the evening at Boondockz and had a freaking blast with the locals. Drinks were great and there was plenty of things for the kids 12& over to do. The rest of the week we had a heck of a time catching anyone in the office for things needed. The cabin…. There is so much potential for this cabin but man the whole place needs some TLC. I loved the cabin but to hold 12 like the ad said is a joke. Not enough bed space, towels, seating in the living room and literally NOTHING for cooking in the tiny kitchen. We ended up spending around $50 at DG for things we needed just to make it the week. Would we stay here again, no, but it does have the potential to be a great fun place that could be very enjoyable by a bigger family like ours.

There were 13 of us staying at the location but not enough chairs to use the decks. Plus only one table table on each of the decks. The place wasn't vacuumed the best and the patio doors on upper deck didn't work properly. Plus there was a few other items like that. However... things are being worked on. The beds are comfortable and clean!! The bathrooms were clean! That's important. We will return!
