“I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. I most appreciated the AC/fan at night, the nearby walking trail and the fenced off leash dog park. I was thankful to have the cottage with the shaded deck as the Mallard cottage deck was fully in the sun the entire day. I also wish the VRBO description had indicated to bring my own sheets and towels. It might be important……

“The log home is the perfect place to spend quality time with family and unwind in nature. Gary was extremely helpful with getting us acquainted with the property. Sharing his love for the stars was a special treat and was an incredible experience. It's a great location to see the night sky. The weather was amazing, and we were able to enjoy all the amenities - canoeing, time on the dock and hammocks, campfires, and more. Thanks for making our first family vacation memorable!”

“Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.”

“The cottage was well supplied and amenities were plentiful all the way down to the phone charger. (which I had forgot mine at home). Ashley responded promptly to any questions that I had. The cottage was very clean and modern but still had a cottage feel. Beautiful views from the deck as tress where just starting to change to their autumn colours. Nice to have the furnace automatically come on as the night time temp dropped to 2’c.Very peaceful area and a short drive to town if needed. We……
