“Gary is a wonderful host, greeted me upon arrival, gave me a quick tour to make sure I knew where everything was and detailed instructions on how to use things within the cottage, and he also came back to say goodbye. Super friendly, very accommodating and answered any questions quickly. The cabin is beautiful, has everything you would need, very cozy, super comfortable bed and furniture, and I really admire the design and construction of the cabin.And then there's the property, one of the most……

“I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. I most appreciated the AC/fan at night, the nearby walking trail and the fenced off leash dog park. I was thankful to have the cottage with the shaded deck as the Mallard cottage deck was fully in the sun the entire day. I also wish the VRBO description had indicated to bring my own sheets and towels. It might be important……

“Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.”

“The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. ”

The cottage had everything we needed and we greatly appreciated the laundry facilities so we didn't have to pack so much. The owner was available when needed and very friendly. Lots of kayaking and relaxing. Two beautiful beaches close by for swimming and a large lawn for games. ”
