Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at a real working Ranch only about 30 miles from the Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and only 18 miles to Cody. We also have Trail rides available, right there at your back door. Overnight or multiple days available, welcome your pets. If you're looking for a true experience of what it's like to live out here this close to Yellowstone, look no further, the Double R Ranch is where you will find it.. This cabin sleeps 4, 2 twin bunk beds.

Cozy ranch that had a nice bunk room with well decorated separate living/kitchen area. Kinda hard to tell where we were going in the dark.

We only stayed one night and that was good…. When looking on VRBO for this place it showed the kitchen, living room and rooms but it didn’t say the kitchen and living room were in a separate building. Not until the day before our stay did they mention those areas were in a separate building. When we arrived it was dark and the buildings weren’t marked. Plus we believe the kitchen, living area were off limits because there was a chain attached to the porch which made us think there was a dog inside, so we weren’t going to enter in fear of the dog barking and/or coming at us. Plus I asked how far this was from the town of Cody on our day and I didn’t get a response until the next day and I was told 15 minutes and it was definitely 30 minutes. Very small room but for one night it was ok.

The Bunkhouse

Perfect for just me …. Great little fridge held all my travel food/drinks . Love that it’s right in the middle of the ranch ….. horses and mules for their outfitting business ….. very quiet at night and close to the Park and all the rivers in between . Look forward to coming back in the fall . They’re also great at holding things or shipping things you leave behind …. Good news I live just 1 1/2 hours away Nice stay ….. thanks folks !
