Amazing family getaway

Our group had a wonderful vacation at this fantastic house- clean and spacious, perfect views, plenty of extra lounge chairs and floats/life jackets. Well stocked with all the essentials and loads of towels! Great communication from property manager as well - we will be back!

"Rockford Bay Retreat: Perfect 5-Star Getaway for Celebrating Milestones on Lake Coeur d' Alene

Rockford Bay Retreat truly deserves its 5-star rating. I brought my entire family for a week-long stay at the stunning Lake Coeur d'Alene to celebrate my 75th birthday and 53rd anniversary. The property is absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything needed for a perfect vacation. A huge thank you to Nicole for making our stay exceptional. 5 STARS!

Lake paradise

This property is as advertised, a beautiful home on a breathtaking lake. Outside of purchasing our groceries, everything we needed was provided. If you love sunrises or sunsets, this is your place. Communication with the property manager was great leading up to the rental and while staying on the property.

Annual family gathering

Extremely nice, secluded, modern, clean and well placed. Our family was fortunate to enjoy this spacious home along with the evening shaded gazebo and dock. The large decks on two floors also gave us a great place to take in the beautiful views while sipping our morning coffee and evening cocktails. The location is excellent at its a minutes boat ride from Shooters Bar & Grill while also being in the middle of the lake, away from the congestion and other boat traffic. We will be back next year!

Very clean, lots of room, nice bedrooms and linens. Great response by owner to any questions. Only negative was we pulled our boat up to the house thinking we could park on the property but the road is very narrow and winding with no place to turn around so we had to back down quite a ways on the road while dodging boat trailers and vehicles parked along the road. So launch your boat before going to the house and try to park your trailer at the Sun Up Bay marina if they allow it.

Family Holiday at Lake House

We had an extended family and friends stay over the Christmas and New Year holidays at this property. This was a perfect location, with several gathering areas, generous bedrooms to accommodate a variety of guests. The main floor, with a professional scale kitchen, large dining and living area provided more than adequate room for all of our guests. The large decks on two levels provided an opportunity to get outside and take in the beauty of lake Coeur d’Alene, each morning revealed a new dide of the lakes personality. We will use this venue again.

Fantastic Family Week

My family of 8 had a fantastic time and we are definitely planning another weeks+ vacation there again!! Rockford Bay Retreat definitely earns a 5+ Star rating! Communication with the owners was great and informative and the whole process of checking in went perfectly. The house was very clean, with all appliances working. The lake is beautiful and the dock was great as well. We brought our 23' Wake/Surf boat with us and had a fantastic time. There were very few boats in the lake in front of us, so never choppy or busy. 15 minutes max to Harrison and it only took 22 minutes to get to downtown Coeur d'Alene by boat. The dock and gazebo are both clean and very nice. We spent a LOT of time in this area over the week. We also enjoyed using the fire pit! 2 things to note - 1) Idaho requires an Invasive Species sticker on your boat. The sheriff's patrols don't sell them, we got ours at the Parks Dept. in CdA. 2) VERY difficult to turn our trailer around once I got to the house after dropping the boat. I had to back the trailer to an earlier intersection (about 1/4 mile), turn it around, then back it to the house. There are limited spaces before you get to the house, so you may get lucky. My trailer is somewhat long since the boat is 23'. Definitely not a big deal once I figured it out :) Thank you again Rockford Bay!! Best, Finch/Molander/Wiard Family

Paradise on the water

The house was perfect in every way. It was clean, comfortable, extremely spacious, and everything worked the way it should. The dock had quality equipment to safely park our boat and jetskis for the duration of the trip. Definitely 5 stars!

Family Birthday

We came for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday with extended family. House was very clean and well maintained. The house is right on the lake. There are quite a few stairs to travel up and down to dock, but the dock and gazebo on lake are stocked with paddle boards and Kayaks. We had a great weekend and would recommend this property!

Great Lake House

Great property right on the lake. Has a dock and lawn area right by the water to spend your day relaxing. With a large kitchen, expansive deck and within range for grocery delivery, meals were a breeze. Highly recommend!
