Good facility; lovely hosts; nice welcome for my dog and me. Minor gripe: there was a $25 surcharge for the dog which is reasonable but of which I wasn’t aware from the Wotif site, although I may just have missed that.

I only dealt with one staff member and she was fantastic. The room was very nice with the bathroom being a little dated but very clean. This was a very nice place to stay.

Pool was smaller than I thought it would be. Hotel across the road from supermarket and there’s a servo next door which is handy. The room was clean and once we cranked the ac it was nice and cool. Nice selection of tea and some coffee and a couple of hot chocolates which we appreciated. Some milk in the fridge would have been lovely. The servo next door sorted that. We were so pleased our dog was welcome. He is 30kg and that was no problem. We all slept well and would stay again. Thank you.

Room was good, clean & had good amenities. Unfortunately some of the guests were people in limbo waiting for assisted housing. A couple were recently released from prison however not dangerous just made me feel uncomfortable as I’m a 71 year old female traveling alone. There was a lot of uncontrolled very young kids, loud music & swearing. I was unable to remain there for the last 2 nights. I notified the owner of my concerns & he agreed to a part refund. I did send an email on the 7th to advise hotels.com & request a part refund.

We arrived at 8:15pm and went to have showers at 10:00pm and there was no hotwater. Called the afterhours who advised the water was only at 30 degrees and it would take 4-5 hours to reheat. Apparently our neighbours must have had excessively long showers! No compensation offered…
