“A true castle in a lovely setting. Clean, spacious and quiet room. Only reopened since March 1st the kitchen is still spinning up, but we had a lovely dinner and breakfast. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It is a castle, so be prepared for a little climb to the entrance. ”

“My wife and I stayed here for a few days of relaxation after spending a week in Rome. It is a rather large place to stay for just two people as it does have 5 bedrooms and a rather large living area, but we were very happy with it. The view was amazing and there were plenty of fun activities to do on the property between: tennis, swimming pool, ping pong, darts, pool, etc. There are also plenty of really good places to eat especially the Trattoria less than a km down the road. “Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Wasserfall. Ombretta ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, hat sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert und war für alle Anliegen da. Sie spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch. Das Haus hat viel Atmosphäre und ist gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Zufahrt ist sehr steil, aber machbar. Ein wunderbarer Ort für Leute, die Ruhe und Natur lieben.”

“The house was as described and shown in the images. If you have mobility problems beware the short but relatively steep drive and the 10 or so steps up to the patio and entrance. The weather was pretty hot but the house was naturally cool with thick stone walls. There was an enormous dining table and an adjacent comfortable seating area which strangely had no lighting though we moved a couple of table lamps around so that we could read. “Very beautiful place in the middle of a small, warm, green village. We had the privilege of experiencing the autumn festival and the chestnut harvest. The room was spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool and the terrace offer a pleasant complement. Breakfast was perfect. A few kilometers by car from the mountains and attractions of Ascoli Piceno and Castelluccio di Norcia. ”
