「Because this property uses the same system for the 2 units the owner controls the heating and cooling system. We were in the lower apartment and were freezing cold. As seniors we feel the cold and therefore would not have rented this property had we known. It may be fine for younger people but my husband found it so cold he couldn't sleep and we cut our stay short rather than endure the very uncomfortable temperatures.
