“My impression of the Big 4 Big River Holiday Park was a disappointment, over priced for what was on offer. This Park was tidy, but lack shaded areas or greenery, has a very mediocre (small) size gated swimming pool. The two bedroom cabins are very small containing a matchbox size bathroom, the shower floor tiles are extremely slippery, with the shower hot and cold water hard to regulate. The slope down to the riverside from the cabin was too steep if for anyone mobility issues. On the positive……

“I booked a superior queen room that was far below its description. it was literally a triangle with the bed taking up three quarters of the room. it was supposed to have ocean views however they were only seen from the far corner of the veranda. It was however in a good location to the beach and restaurants.”

“The room was not clean. While the kitchen and toilet was clean the Sofa and Bed was dirty. The bed was made but only the top linen was clean. Everything underneath was dirty with patches, hair and marks. The carpet and Sofa needs a thorough clean.”

“Family trip. We wish we could stay there longer to enjoy the silent ambient and also the facilities. We have a big room and it is very convenience to parking our car directly at the front door of our "house". We encountered a snake at the pool and the staff there attended it and helped monitor it to ensure we feel safe. ”
