Wonderful little house

The house was lovely with excellent views and wonderful location right on the beach over a sand dune. Short drive into the park and to town.

Perfect Location

Can't wait to come back. Such a perfect location with its own little private beach access (that is actually easy to navigate!). Gorgeous well-appointed house. Super comfy beds.

The place to stay.

We're so glad we booked the blue house. It was perfect. The beds, pillows, utensils and everything you can think of good quality. The location is fantastic and it worked well with seperate areas for the kids, and my wife and I. The backyard backs on to the estuary/beach and two little jetties. Next time we're in Tassie we're booking here. We stayed three nights and could happily stayed a week.

Such a fantastic place to stay. Boat ramp 50 meters down the street, fantastic views across the river and a very cost comfortable house

Hi, We enjoyed our stay. The Blue House was clean, and everything worked. It's a great location for hiking in the Freycinet National Park. Check-in and out was easy. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Three night stay!

What a spot, great location, lovely views with a almost private beach. Loved the first floor living area with the two bedrooms and the updated bathroom downstairs. One small issue was resolved quickly by the management, thank you!

A beautiful stay

Wonderful all round. Gorgeous vistas, quiet, clean. Great position from which to explore Freycinet NP. There is no dishwasher, but thankfully we got to have meals with family who were also holidaying a few doors down and they had a dishwasher. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The Blue House

We called about the code to be told we wouldn’t find that out until 3pm when we were previously advised and ready to check in at 2pm. Very confusing and frustrating. Some dishes were dirty so needed rewatching before use. Food was stuck on saucepans in the cupboard. Otherwise this place was lovely.

The Blue House

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location just off the beach. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Just what we needed. The only issue was that we were instructed that all information on how to get there and how to enter the property would be sent 2 days prior to arrival. Despite calling the property management the information was not sent to us until 15 minutes before we arrived at the property. This caused unnecessary distress to the start of a weekend away. It was the first time we had left our home since Mid March and we were feeling apprehensive anyway.

Lovely spot, great with our dog

This is a lovely spot, could kayak from the garden, dog loved the fenced yard, great view from deck and nice and quiet. Short drive to Freycinet Marine Farm (fantastic for a seafood lunch) and into Coles Bay. Property backs onto Moulting lagoon and is a 5 minute walk to a nice ocean beach. Only reason for lower rating on cleanliness was cigarette smoke smell but I gather this was a once off problem as it is a nonsmoking property. We are likely to return, as otherwise was great. Three stars only for communication. Managed by an agency not directly with owner and they were hard to contact, did not reply to message left on first day of our stay when we wanted to discuss the smoke issue and slow with returning calls and answering emails generally. All ok in the end but was a bit inconvenient.
