「We have just returned from our visit to No 2. What a stunning location!! The cottage had everything we needed (family of 4, two teenagers) and the hosts had thought of all the necessities and more. The chocolates, soap and flowers were a lovely addition. We found a lot to do in the area - Oban was just 30-40 mins away and there were waterfalls, walks and cycle tracks nearby. We went to the pub in Kilchrenan and got takeway from Black Rock curries just along the road. Dalavich had a little shop...

「This place is like one out of a fairytale. Most spacious! The property owner cooked amazing l meals and brought them to the room herself! They are wonderful people to meet! There are so many places within walking distance to see and enjoy in the area. The people who lived on the island are so very kind and gracious! Absolutely stunning home! Full of jacobite history for those Outlander fans! It was the best vacation i could have ever wished for!」

「You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay 」

「The Shelduck cottage is a excellent base for exploring this scenic part of Scotland. Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property. Would recommend this quiet location overlooking loch Riddon. 」
