“Cleanly, idyllic, cozy and wonderful ”

“Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). ”

“This cottage is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the location and view of the sea. We did have a little difficulty getting heat the first night but with Catriona’s instructions, it worked beautifully after it started up. We enjoyed having the washer, which enabled us to pack a little less and do a load of laundry half way through our trip. Kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed to make meals at home. We absolutely would recommend this beautiful place in “The Hope”!”

“These cottages are special. It is a peaceful and safe area and so quiet! I would absolutely rent here again. It is close to Edinburgh, Stirling, even Glasgow. Please don’t be swayed thinking it’s too far from things. The privacy is worth it. Grounds are also beautiful to walk on. Thank you for a lovely stay! ”

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! A nice, straightforward, and easy 35 minute walk to the center of Inverness. We had 5 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2) and there was plenty of space for all of us. It got a bit toasty at times with no AC, but we made it work. The washer/dryer combo took a long time to wash and dry, and we could never figure out how to turn on the hot water to the bathtub (those things were probably on us), but overall was a clean and cozy stay; it was our favorite……
