“First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us).”

“We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. So this type of stay allows us to not bother our family and we have all the comforts of home. It also serves as a home base so we can have day trips and have a place to come back to and rest. “Thank you for a perfect weekend. House was so well located beside a garden centre and the coastal path - and in a beautiful area. It was ideal for coastal walks. Sun shone most of the weekend which made for lovely views of the sea and for exploring the surrounding villages. The house itself was comfortable and homely and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in the evenings - local produce was all delicious too. Jeanette couldn’t have been kinder as she offered us an early check in too……

“This is a perfect cottage, only a 5 min drive from St Andrews but so peaceful, with fantastic sea views from the living room and master bedroom, across the links. We loved the large enclosed garden which meant our dogs could exercise safely. Perfect for anyone with mobility issues as everything is on ground level, no steps and open plan living area. It was clean, cosy and modern. We mainly ate at home and the cottage had everything we needed. We had a little difficulty finding it on arrival as……

“This property was in a great location and well situated near a busy street with restaurants and shops, but far enough away that it was quiet during the day and night. It was very spacious and had a cute courtyard in the back, but there weren’t enough clips to hang dry our clothes on the line. The other issues we had were that we only received one bath and hand towel each, one small toilet paper roll per bathroom, one small hand gel per bathroom, no shelves or hanging trays for soap in showers,……
