「The property was as represented, and the view from the windows was itself worth the stay! Good breakfast basket delivered in the morning, nespresso machine, modern clean room and bathroom, bus stop very close and Connell Ferry train station 10-15 minutes walk.」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. 「Checked into our first room, toilet flush inop and a washing up bowl on the side with the toilet fixings hanging off. Reported to reception who moved us to another room with a sauna, sauna did not work, horrendous noise from the kitchen fans and no sea view which we had upgraded to. Back to reception for a second time and had to argue to get moved room again. Third room was terrible, smelt damp, curtains hanging off, paint peeling off walls and cracks in windows. Only upside was the food was...

「If you're looking for a unique unpretentious above a bar experience, this is an awesome place. A good mix of local and traveling crowd downstairs, very casual, relaxed setting, while upstairs, possibly the smallest functional room I've ever stayed in, but it worked perfectly for two, and a lifetime of stories to follow!」
