"The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna."

"We had a lovely few days in Walled Garden Mews 10 in Melfort Holiday Village. It was well thought-out and so comfortably slept four adults and two children on the sofa bed on the mezzanine. There was plenty of storage and the kitchen was one of the best equipped I've come across in a holiday let. The facilities were great; the children were able to run free and enjoy the games rooms and the swings that were just next door/outside and we all loved going to the pool, which was beautifully warm....

"In a week of rain we managed to find many dry days. The location of the village was outstanding with views of the loch and an abundance of birdlife ( I counted 40 species in the area in the week). Melfort has great access to the isles through Oban and the coastline along the A 816 offers opportunities for gardens (Arduaine) and loch views from Ardfern. "Wonderful room, absolutely spotlessly clean. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Location is absolutely perfect for Oban town. Carpark is a bit awkward but usable, but there is additional parking within a few minutes walk. Breakfast depending on how busy hotel is you get buffet or table sevi both of which gave you a great start to the day."
