Beautiful setting and excellent location.

David and Claudine welcomed us to their gite, after coming to find us as we got a little lost. The gite is well equipped, stylishly decorated and comfortable. The location is very quiet and excellent location for some star gazing. You can walk to the Overload Museum and American cemetery. We took a drive to the beach but you could walk if you wanted to. Several other Omaha museums are within a very short drive. We had a welcome bottle of David's home produced cider which was delicious. We were left to enjoy the tranquility of the gite but with knowledge that David or Claudine were close by if we needed anything. Overall a most enjoyable stay in Normandy.

Uns hat es bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten gut gefallen. Der Garten und die Lage sind traumhaft. Die Aussenanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es wäre schön, wenn die Gartenmöbel und auch die Stühle im Essbereich erneuert würden. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht.

Wir haben diesen Urlaub mal wieder sehr genossen, der Vermieter ,David , ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett . Für jede Frage und Wünsche offen! Das Haus ist großzügig und sehr geräumigund gut ausgestattet. Von Colleville kann man viele Ausflüge entlang der Küste gut erreichen!

Toller Familienurlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus und sehr schöner Gegend

Ab der 1. Minute haben wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Natur pur und himmliche Ruhe. David hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und alles erklärt. Das Haus war sehr sauber und es hat uns nichts darin gefehlt. Toll ist der Tischkicker ! Ein tollter großer Garten und die Hofkatze Jaques nicht zu vergessen. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zu versch. Besichtigungen mit dem Auto zu fahren. Wir sind auch mal zum Strand gelaufen (größerer Spaziergang). Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen und wir werden bestimmt Wiederkommen.

séjour à Colleville

le gite est très bien mais en pleine campagne. La ville la plus importante est Bayeux qui se situe à environ17 km.. Pour les courses c'est Port en Bessin 7 km le plus proche. Il faut savoir aussi que l'escalier pour monter dans les chambres est un escalier de meunier. Faire attention pour les enfants et les personnes agées.

Gite Dune

1 semaine à Colleville à 2 pas à pied d'Omaha Beach et à 20 min de Bayeux dans un gite pratique et paisible. Merci bcp à David pour son accueil. Une très belle région avec des sites marquants et remarquable. Le soleil était églt au rendez vous rendant le séjour parfait !!

Excellent stay near Omaha beach

This was our fourth visit to Gite Dune. A lovely property in an excellent location, clean and well equipped with comfortable beds and excellent WiFi. Private outside sitting area with views across the orchard. A short drive from Omaha Beach (5 mins), Bayeax (15 mins) and Caen (20 Mins). Would definitely stay again.

Wir haben in Frankreich eine tolle Woche verbracht und uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit gewesen ! Schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Omaha Beach ist super schön wo man kilometerweit spazieren gehen kann . Wer Ruhe genießen möchte ist genau richtig in dieser Unterkunft . Wir waren schon mehrfach in der Normandie, diese Unterkunft war bislang die Beste ! Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Calme et tranquille

Un bon séjour dans une maison très propre et bien localisée. Un peu froide cependant en hiver et un peu impersonnelle dans son aménagement. Nous avons malheureusement eut beaucoup de pluie... mais aux beaux jours, avec la terrasse, cela doit être très agréable.
