Fun for the whole family, a romantic get-a-way or girls weekend. We have it all

  • PICK ME! PICK ME! Chip Loves company. This cute little cottage is nestled in between St. Joseph (9 miles south) and South Haven(12 miles north) along the Lake Michigan shoreline. It is one mile south of Roadside park and one mile north of Hagar Park. These public beaches are surprisingly secluded and wooded in what guests have described as a diamond in the rough. There's plenty to do in both directions. We just installed a 3 way mini split heat and air and a new deck in front. We are NOT large enough for parties inside or outside. We have taken great pride and care to create an experience for our guests that will create happy memories of the cottage by the big Lake.
    Guests' enjoy activities in the surrounding communities for year long adventures.
    We have received high marks for decor, activities, amenities and cleanliness!
    There is one camera in front as added security for the parking area.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! The home was exactly what we were looking for—cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, which made it even more relaxing. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into making guests feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again. Highly recommend!

Chips place was so great! We used the fire place and the s’mores supplies she left. It was all very cozy, with very short drives to the beaches and St. Joseph’s.

Great place! Very clean, efficient use of space and had all the amenities we needed! Location to area highlights was perfect! 5 minute drive to Hagar Park and Lake Michigan! Not far from Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, South Haven, Saugatuck…and many wineries!! I would stay here again!

A nice quiet place to stay if visiting nearby St. Joseph. We also had close by access to some smaller, less crowded beaches that were nice. Overall, it was a great stay.

We loved our stay at Chip’s place! It was the perfect size for our family of four (two adults and two kids). The home was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, including the s’mores supplies, sweet snacks, coffee, and even laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. Those little extras made our stay even more enjoyable.The location was fantastic. It was just 3 minutes from Hagar Beach, about 10 to 15 minutes from St. Joseph, and only 30 minutes from Warren Dunes. We also enjoyed having dinner in Coloma, where there are plenty of family-friendly restaurants nearby.We hope to stay here again next year! Dawn was wonderful to work with and responded very quickly whenever we had questions. Overall, we highly recommend this property!

Perfect little cottage close to beach

We had a wonderful stay at Dawn’s cottage! Everything was clean and it was perfect location between St. Joe and South Haven. Would definitely stay again!

What a comfy little place. The beds were so cozy and the sound machines were a nice surprise. The property was so quiet and peaceful which was a perfect break in our long cross country road trip. Chip’s place had just the right amount of amenities without any unneeded clutter that you sometimes see in rentals. Perfect in so many ways and the proximity to Hagar Beach was great to catch the sunset (don’t miss). Host was friendly and left extra lights on for us as we came in late.
