Good old Fashioned Customer Courtesy won’t Kill
I would recommend notifying Hotels.com about the hotel limited accommodations and the fact that the facility is permanently closing for business on Sunday! This way we share the courtesy of avoiding booked stays with customer high expectations and dissatisfaction and disappointment when the customer shows up to check in. Shame on the owners and stakeholders of this business and hope you all do better in your next endeavors.

Employees had children with them while on the clock other employees had boyfriends there while on the clock. So it was distracting employees when customers needed help. But once they noticed they were willing and able to help floors throughout the hallway were dirty, not vacuumed, or trash picked up. side doors not working properly when using your card to enter. When asked what section ABC or D there are no signs stating what area is ABC or D so on and so forth. I believe it would be better effective. If such things were put into place so we could properly give information I want area was needed to be fixed.

It was a very nice hotel. Very quiet. Clean. The staff were nice. We had to wait for our room to be cleaned after the check in time of 3:00. Our room heating/cooling wasn't working properly.

There was nothing to like. Service was horrible IF you found anyone. Room wasn’t dirty but there where like 1 set of towels and when I went down to ask for more, they said that there wasn’t any and they would bring some up, but never did. The construction was insane, tarps, plastic, paint, dirt, access to anything was close to none. Elevator, some halls, and the room was pretty much it. The website should have at least warned people so they could decide if they could overlook the mess or chose to stay elsewhere. The hotel seems like it is going to be amazing, but they have a long way to go.

They were closing in 9 days and didn,t tell us til we got there. No bar, no resturant . Many rooms were ocupied by low -income housing . Very Disapointed. Staff was pleasant but couldn't do anything about.

It’s a very unpleasant to walk on the hallway to see trash and dirty floors. The bed is old and sloppy. The area isn’t walkable, friendly or safety to do so. However, the room is big and quite. Friendly staff at the front desk.

Overall great, but with a few flaws
Good: Surprisingly large bedroom and bathroom. Nice comfy bed. Clean sheets and towels. The location is convenient to a highway and gas station. We got an excellent deal from Hotels.com. Bad: The shower was weak. The bed didn't have a blanket, only sheets and a thin coverlet. The air conditioner was loud (although it wasn't grinding, clanking, or thumping.) There are no restaurants nearby, just a Circle K.

Room in very bad shape, dirty and hot tap on sink didn’t work. AC and smoked in. The property didn’t seem safe, so once we got in our room, we hunkered down and didn’t go out. We checked online for another hotel, willing to give up what we paid at Alta Hotel, but no availability anywhere. Everyone consider this a warning.

Our room spelt like someone died in it. We had to go buy our own febreeze. The pools are not open, the bar is not open. Nothing online that they offered was open. It is also a place that people can live at and the people we did see scared me.....

ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO STAY! Save your money, your time, your health, your sanity-DON'T STAY HERE IN THEIR 'MOTEL' which is closing by the way, or RENT FROM THEM! Pictures are deceiving. NASTY place, no working A/C, no ice machines. Our vacation with my 3 year old was ruined by this place & their staff. Worst experience ever. Beware!

Not the best but not bad.
Stayed there as it’s close to my job. My partner had a very hard time sleeping as well as myself due to the loudness of others. Lots of homeless nearby. No vending machines and the little gift shop was never open. We had to walk to the gas station for snacks. Overall wasn’t bad, but probably wouldn’t stay here again

It does not look like the pictures. Ice machines did not work. Room looked like blood on the curtains. The lobby was the nicest part of the hotel. One person checking me in just left and went somewhere, leaving me at the front desk and all the people behind me. Luckily a nicer more tentative person came to help after 5 mins. The surroundings are kinda questionable.

The AC in our first room did not work but they switched us rooms painlessly. Only problem is the new room was extremely loud. This is not a bad hotel. A lot of it is under construction.

Decent but understaffed
Check in was a bit of a hassle because the rooms weren’t ready and since the bar was closed for renovations, there wasn’t much to do but wait and wait. After the rooms were ready check in was a breeze however front desk staff didn’t give us very much info and this hotel is a very confusing maze. Once we got settled, it was nice and comfortable. Loved the enclosed courtyard as we had our dogs with us. Overall I can say I’m satisfied with the stay here.

The indoor pool, restaurant and workout facilities weren’t available and under construction. We asked for queen beds and got full beds. Sheets were stained and ripped. Carpets were covered in leaves. We requested towels and had to wait two hours to get them. Please read the reviews, can’t recommend will never go back.

Comfortable
Overall it was really good. Felt very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. Service was very fast and all staff were very friendly. One of the outlets in the room did not work properly and the lightbulb in one of the lamps was blown when we got there. The cover panel on the A/C was off when we checked in on Sunday but maintenance came early Monday morning to fix it for us. Everything was great otherwise.

Not the cleanest
The hotel was okay except it was under construction and the indoor pool was closed. No where did it mention that it was closed and under construction. Our room smelled terrible and was not very clean at all. Our ac was not working so I called and they were pretty quick about showing up and fixing it. I was impressed, at how quickly someone was there to fix it. The front desk and maintenance people were professional and nice. But the cleanliness of the hotel was awful.

The hotel was totally under construction. Inside pool was closed. And restaurant was closed. I purposely payed more for the hotel for the poil and restaurant. No discounts were given with this false advertising on line.

Hello Justin,Upon immediate inspection of your room once you checked out, I found neither blood or any sign of bed bugs. However, since you vacated somewhat immediately, as I stated I will honor the refund. You will need to initiate the process with Expedia.

Poor service
Room check in was slow. Had trouble finding the room. Trash in room had dirty sanitary napkins in trash. Called front desk for over 30 minutes and never got an answer. Went to front desk the next morning about it and left room for the day. Came back around 4 and room was still dirty. Would not recommend staying her. Very poor service.

This property was NOT advertised realistically at all. The pictures must be from when it was owned by someone else. It is not a typical hotel in that it is also a living hotel and many homeless or transient type people were staying there. It was so DIRTY! Carpets were dirty, there was trash laying around, the furniture in the room was chipped, drooping curtains, old A/C. I left the property after 1 hour. Terrible place to advertise on Expedia.

Not recommended
Definitely wasnt what I was expecting. Rooms were a bit run down and smelled weird. The property isnt really a hotel anymore seemed more like a camp for crackheads and prostitutes. No vending machines, ice machines were broke the majority of the time. All the on site cafes and bars were no longer there. Indoor pool was drained, the outdoor pool was usually over run with crackheads and pros. Wouldnt recommend or ever consider staying here again.
