Whether you are exploring the trails or basking in the hot tub under the stars after a captivating hike, you are sure to get the full experience of nature. This cozy retreat is the upper level of split level home with separate access from the back porch and a solid core locked door between the levels. With two bedrooms the home accommodates-four guests, with living and dining areas, large three quarter bath, laundry room and fully stocked kitchen. The patio with its stunning views has a hot tub, gas grill and backyard exclusively for guests. The lower street level portion of the home is a separate owners quarters added later. Nestled in the heart of beautiful Cheyenne Canyon, this remote mountain retreat is the best of both worlds. Enjoy the tranquility of a mountain cabin and the convenience of nearby local attractions, activities, shopping and restaurants. Our home in this unique neighborhood allows guests to walk right out the door onto hiking and biking trails, take a stroll just blocks away to the local cafe and bakery or to visit the historic Broadmoor hotel, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and many other area attractions. Seven Falls, Helen Hunt Falls, historic Old Colorado City, Downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and a variety of other uniquely Colorado experiences are minutes away. Enjoy a soak in our hot tub looking out onto the hills as you begin your day or return from all your adventures! From the house, you can view and hear the gentle chiming of the historic Will Rogers shrine.
Our home is a newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 3/4 bath with all updated features and amenities while retaining a rustic charm.
Upstairs, the main level includes an open concept kitchen with gas oven, dining area and living room with gas fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with any cooking or entertaining supplies you may need including a fondue set and crock pot for fun and easy family meals. The bathroom includes a spacious shower, twin sinks, and separate laundry room. The master bedroom has a king size bed, gas fireplace with windows that open out toward the southeast section of the canyon toward the Broadmoor Resort and Cheyenne Mountain. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with windows opening to the East. Off the living room in the backyard we have a partially covered patio with hot tub, gas grill and seating and dining area looking out into the mountains. A chiminea wood fireplace on the patio can be used only in the winter months and with permission from the host as dry conditions and high winds can result in outdoor fire bans.

The upper level of the home is available to you during your stay. One off street car park in front. Exterior brick stairs provide access to the backyard and the upper level of the home.
