I wish we could have stayed longer

Our regular hotel was sold out Thanksgiving and the Hatteras hideaway turned out as a much better option. It's clean, quiet spacious and decorated beautifully.

Family Weekend

This is my third stay at the Hideaway. It is absolutely my favorite place to stay when visiting my daughter. My son and husband joined me on the trip and could see why I wanted to stay there. It is always a wonderful stay.

Hatteras Hideway is the best vrbo type place my boyfriend and I have ever stayed. The place was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Peggy was a great communicator too. The bed was comfortable which made for a good nights sleep. Peggy left great instructions for everything you would need. My boyfriend commented that, "This is what a vrbo should be." I couldn't agree more. We give Hatteras Hideway a 10/10. We would stay here over and over again.

This was our 5th or 6th stay at The Hideaway. It is our favorite place to stay in Columbia. It just feels like home. Peggy has done an outstanding job, and has thought of everything to make our stays truly comfortable, pleasant, and easy.

Perfect stopover on long road trip

Spacious area well suited to accommodating a teen family as we travelled through. A quiet spot to rest after a day of travel. Ted and Peggy were so helpful as we communicated with them prior to our stay. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect For Our Overnight Stay

We booked this location mainly because my 84 yr old dad was having an early morning medical procedure and always sleeps in a recliner. The recliner availability and the many special touches of the home were so welcoming. It met all of our needs. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy this hideaway!

Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again! My daughter is a student at MU so my ex-husband and I went to visit her and car shop. The bed was very comfortable and I didnt want to get up lol. My ex enjoyed the comfy sofa. The basement was very spacious and everything was very clean. Nice touches with the Keurig coffee maker and extra blankets.
