Summary:
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place where everyone will enjoy! This apartment is a very quick drive to high street where all of the actions happen. Conveniently, this warming space is just a 25 minute walk to The Shoe where you can enjoy Buckeye Football weekends!

The Space:
This newly renovated two bedroom and one bath will have you amazed with how cozy it feels! It is perfect for entertaining all while you are sure to have a great night of sleep. Live in the modern comforts of home.

Guest Access:
There is a lockbox on the stairs going down right when you walk in the door. There are 3 there, yours will say A4 on it.

The Neighborhood:
This unit is in the perfect location as High Street (half a mile) , Downtown Columbus (2.5 miles), The Shoe (1.5 miles) and Ohio State campus (half a mile) are all right around the corner.

Getting Around:
Many activities are in walking distance but there is city transportation if needed. Columbus has ample street parking along with most venues having their own parking.

Other Things to Note:
Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check in date is at least 14 days away. A 50% refund is applied for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. NO refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Host was excellent at communicating. Parking pass was not available upon arrival. Just had the situation rectified immediately. This property is an apartment in a little bit sketchy of an area. While the bedding was clean the rest of the apartment was kind of dirty (sticky floors, stained furniture). As we were only using the space for sleeping it did the job but I would not recommend staying here more than a few nights or if you planned on spending time in the unit.

Convenient location for where I needed to be. Great price. Nice amenities. Confortable bed. Good communication. Only issues were 2 outlets in one bedroom didn’t work. Also, common areas of property were messy (not the owners fault but it did impact my stay).

Tucked away a little out of the way.

The location was a little bit of a hike from the convention we were visiting but it was pretty easy to get around from here still as it was still pretty central. We had a couple small issues at the start but the host was quick to take care of things and work around our availability, which very much helped to minimize the inconvenience.

Cheap Furniture, Bad Building, 2/5

I’m not much of a reviewer but honestly I disdained this apartment enough that I feel that it is important to warn others. The furniture was insanely cheap. Both beds felt as though they were about to break under approximately 300lbs, the tables all wobbled as though they could fall over at any moment, and there was so little insolation that I could both feel the wind and hear the college students that live and party in this building.

Terrible management and communication

Place had no hot water for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. Management company felt it was out reaponsibility to change our plans to wait for a maintenance to address the issue. They sent a technician at a time we told them we won't be in the apartment. The tech was annoyed that we weren't there on their first visit, even though we were on the phone with the property management and told them we were out. We requested a partial refund, which was denied, because they eventually sent someone. The place was not very clean.

Cozy neighborhood!

We had a nice, quiet two-night stay. Very cozy apartment and nice neigborhood for going on walks! Would recommend!

Not worth the money

The apartment was quite dingy and had a weird smell. There was no spare toilet paper and even though I noted this on day one and kept following up I never received any more. The place is run by a management company and not a homeowner, so it was difficult to actually get anything through to whoever could deal with the issues. It is maybe fine for college kids but overall a bad stay, and an expensive one at that.

Everything was clean and well stocked, 1st apt started leaking above toilet from upstairs apartment and the host was very quick to respond. When the leak couldn't be resolved until next day Tom got us in the apt across the hall. We we very satisfied with everything

Make sure you use the parking pass!!!

The apartment was fantastic. Clean, comfortable/cozy. I would’ve liked to have had an iron. If you’re going to need one then bring one (not the properties fault obviously). I would recommend one huge thing to the owner. The parking pass needs stressed in all of your listings and correspondence. We got up to leave on Saturday and had been towed. Going back through correspondence there was only one line at the bottom of the confirmation email stating the importance of using the parking pass. Maybe also put a sign on the wall inside by the pass. Again, not your fault but $200 before breakfast will leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth. Overall a great spot! Wish we had known of this spot last month for Sonic Temple. Thanks again! Definitely 5 Stars!
