To start, the biggest issue with this specific unit, is the wifi. The entire time I was sitting there I had to use the guest wifi of a building, that I'm assuming is behind Chic City Retreat. Even with the Smart Tv they have, on the wall closest to where the internet signal is, I had to rely on the unsecured guest wifi to get anywhere. And this is weird, because they have an wifi extender in unit. And it works because I was able to use it for Ethernet, fairly weak signal. This keeps it from a 4 star rating. Everything else is pretty small. I asked them about it, and they said the modem is in a different unit that someone was in, they have to ask permission to reset it. And I get much stronger signal from my car parked outside than I do within my own unit. I'm harsh about it because I know without the guest wifi, I would've been livid and harped on it everyday with them.Other issues: Bugs, Placement (Downtown Traffic), Dumpster being near two of the windows (attracting more bugs), Gate not really working, the shower in the bathroom (overhead with crusty walls(bring sandals)), and nothing being super close in walking distance. Positives: Free Parking (somewhat Competitive, mostly available), Plenty of room to put things, Laundry room - 2 wash/2 dry next door (free for guests), Nice clean space, Staff clean linens and rooms upon exit.And the biggest positive: AC!!! And they had fixed it the day after I came. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!Overall, this unit is good for the price.
