We had a wonderful stay at Fin & Fig over the Fourth of July weekend. The house was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with just about everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was also a huge bonus that it’s pet friendly, which made traveling with our dogs so much easier.The view is absolutely one of the property’s biggest highlights and was a major reason we chose to book. Staying over the holiday was especially memorable because we had a perfect vantage point to watch the Columbus fireworks from the property.As a beautifully renovated older farmhouse, it does come with a few charming quirks. The staircase to the upstairs is fairly narrow, the floors on the second floor and older part of the house have a slight slope in the hallway, and there’s a fireplace hearth in the kitchen that you’ll want to be mindful of to avoid tripping. One final thing to note is that access to the upper deck is through the house. You’ll walk through one of the second floor bedrooms to reach it. None of these details took away from our experience. They are simply part of the character and layout of an older home.Overall, we found the space comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable, and we’d happily stay here again.
