Clean, spacious, modern convenience on acres beautiful rolling pastureland. Beautifully and comfortably appointed. We were even supplied farm fresh eggs. I would be happy to book this property again. A true gem on a stay!

Perfect place for our family to have our annual “family weekend.” The house was clean and spacious and just as pictured. We loved the comfy beds and enjoyed the fire pit and well stocked kitchen! Will be back!

The location and surrounding area is beautiful, we loved our stay and will be coming back in 2022. The pool is much larger than photos make it appear, has a wrap around bench that made for a great relaxing spot in the Hot Texas summer. Great place!

We stayed there with 12 people including three teens under age 15. The house was welcoming and we didn’t feel crowded with so many people. The other king bed is in the loft which I did not find very clear in the listing. We loved our stay. We were in town for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect home away from home. My family and I have stayed at this property multiple times, and we have such a relaxing time when we are here. The house is immaculate and well stocked with anything you might need. The view from the porch is just magnificent, and can you say enough about the sunsets in Schulenburg? Every time we have been here, we have such great photos with the sun setting in the background. There is just not one negative thing to say about this place. Highly recommend!

The home was simply perfect, with plenty of room, and extremely well equipped from the kitchen to the beautiful backyard. We enjoyed the pool in this hot summer heat! We will definitely be back again! Thank you for the fresh eggs....Best breakfast ever!

We came for a family wedding and were pleasantly surprised. The home fit our needs perfectly for our family. Our only issue was we did have a wheelchair and to get into the home was a bit of a struggle. Once in the home the changes in flooring weren't a big issue. Beautiful large yard for the dogs and pool was great for the kids. M.y favorite part was just watching and listening to the cows come in to be fed. Beautiful property and wonderful stay. Felt just like home.

We came as a family to celebrate my mothers 75th birthday and it was everything we could have hoped for. The home is kid and pet friendly so it felt like home! While there one of the days we, as a family, were discussing returning before the end of the year! The home is extremely spacious but has an air of cozy and quaint. Must be the beautiful views and surroundings! I highly suggest sunsets at the pool and sunrises on the front porch. The home was equipped with all the cooking basics, but bring what you need for larger families. The nearest store was 15 minutes from the home, but its location to the main highway makes it super convenient. They provided more than enough towels, shampoo, body wash, pool towels and toys, wood for the fire pit and a gas grill. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great time here. We really enjoyed the farm house and the get away. Plenty of space for our 3 families. Great patio out back for relaxing and great response from management with any questions. I really enjoyed the sunsets and star gazing and amenities were as expected!! A great place for a gathering!

This house has everything you could think of! It was very welcoming and perfect for our family! All the kids enjoyed it so much they want to return this fall! From the amazing location to the pool and spacious rooms, this is by far the best experience we’ve had! We are definitely coming back! Thank you for allowing us to make beautiful memories there! None of travelled to the area from Washington state for a wedding. The home was clean, stocked and ready for our stay. We enjoyed the pool! It was perfect To relax and sit around and visit in between activities. The fresh eggs made an excellent breakfast. While we all enjoyed the local heard of cattle, the farmer in our group was especially excited! If we are ever back in the area would definitely stay again!

We had a girl cousin reunion here and it was WONDERFUL! The accommodations could not have been more perfect! So clean, well stocked, spacious and soooo comfortable! Our family was originally from this area so we did some reminiscing and visiting deceased relatives. Thank you for a fabulous get away! We WILL be back!

I stayed at The Gathering with 12 friends - all of us single in our 20s and 30s - and had a fantastic time! It was incredibly relaxing and laid back. The home and grounds are beautiful. We used the pool and kitchen to good effect and even cooked out. It's even prettier than the pictures. In short, it was the best labor day weekend I have ever had. Beautiful country, beautiful home, and a perfect spot for a retreat or vacation with family and friends.

Such a wonderful place, the communication was very good. The house and pool were phenomenal! We were on a Ford Model T tour and it was nice to have a place to park trailer. The pool was awesome with the lights at night and LOVED watching the Brahmas! HIGHLY recommend!
