Never stay in 3rd party managed vrbo

The apartment was average. However, I will never stay again. This was not staying in a home it was staying in an apartment run by a management company. You don’t pay thru vrbo, you pay thru a third party site that tried to add 3% fees for using a us credit card. The management team never answered any of my questions regarding transportation, recommendations, etc thru the vrbo messaging. Check in was crazy. We needed to go pick up the keys which was a 15 min walk from the train station in the opposite direction of the apartment and a 25 min walk from the downtown apartment all while dragging luggage. The apartment has nothing in it to accommodate cooking. No salt, no pepper, no spices, no oil, not enough coffee for a cup per person every morning, etc. The management company did accommodate holding our bags which I am grateful for. However, setting that up beforehand was very difficult because of the lack of response and communication. Slow WiFi. And, although not their fault, the air quality during our trip was terrible. We left a day early because of both the management company and the air quality.
