We had a fabulous stay ! The house and garden were perfect - it’s was so hot when we stayed that we spent a lot of time in the pool which we loved. Lots of beautiful touches I’d quite like French properties to have key safes but they don’t seem to do that. Communications with Philippe were also perfect

Lower bedroom and kitchen smelt musty and damp all week even though we had the windows open. The basement kitchen is poorly equipped and the fridge was dirty. We had to use the main kitchen all the time. There wasn’t a net to get the leaves and insects out of the pool so we couldn’t use the pool all week, even though we did use the pool cleaning machine on the bottom of the pool. Disappointed to find the garden hadn’t been mowed on our arrival and was only done 2 days later. The property is located in a good area to get the the centre of Condom and to explore the surrounding area. The is a supermarket very close by. Also a very good bakery in the same area. Overall good but requires improvement especially the lower floor I’m not sure it was good value for the money charged

La maison est formidable, rien ne manque et la décoration est très chaleureuse et originale. La piscine est parfaite et le jardin apporte un vrai plus. L’accueil du propriétaire est chaleureux, sympathique et à l’écoute des locataires. Je recommande vraiment cette location.

Maison du Grichet "Le séjour fut court, une seule nuit, mais il me laisse un excellent souvenir. Le décor ancien et confortable de la chambre et de l'édifice dans son ensemble est particulièrement agréable. L'emplacement est remarquable, en plein centre de la ville d'Angers, au milieu des commerces et des restaurants. Pas de problème pour garer sa voiture, deux parkings publics sont à deux pas pour une somme d'environ 3 euros pour la nuit ! Quant au petit déjeuner, la maîtresse de maison prépare, entre autres, de délicieuses crêpes que l'on peut déguster avec de délicieuses confitures et miel du terroir. Quoi de mieux pour un excellent séjour personnalisé ! Sans hésiter c'est un 10 sur 10."

Everything about the property was lovely. Its locality was excellent and with a Lidl 400mts away that sorted the fresh bread and croissants every morning. A 10 minute walk into the town where the Sports Bar in the main square was showing the World Cup rugby matches. Gorgeous villages locally with excellent cheap restaurants for lunch - 17/18 euros for 3 courses including wine. We all (6 of us) had a great time and we would definitely return to Condom.

Maison du Grichet "Caroline et Philippe ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Nous sommes restés trop peu de temps dans cette belle maison, confortable, très bien décorée et spacieuse. Nous repartons avec l'envie de revenir au retour du beau temps pour profiter de la piscine et pleinement de l'extérieur ! Le jardin est grand et très agréable aussi. La maison est calme et très bien placée. Tout est accessible à pied. Idéale pour une grande famille ou avec un groupe d'amis. La maison parfaite pour passer du bon temps en vacance !"
