“非常令人难忘的城堡住宿体验，房间比我们想象中的还要大，冬天还有壁炉可以取暖；大堂古色古香，入住有免费下午茶，晚6点有welcome champagne和精致糕点，7点后的5 course晚宴是按人头计费的，每人49欧，但所有的菜品都有菜单可选，我们一开始不知道，担心吃不完，只点了一道主菜，后来才发现是以人头计费的”

“The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but……

“Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are dated and the bathroom we had was incredibly small. Had to bend around sink to use toilet. Breakfast was very nice with several cooked to order options. Beds and pillows need replacement.”

“This is a really good hotel if you want a quiet location with a great view and want to relax. Set on a remote coastal road, with its own beach surrounded by farmland with cows and horses The hotel has a variety of rooms, but we liked the Premier Deluxe room which is exclusively for adilts and has ocean views, a wet room shower, self standing bath and a bedroom on a mezanine floor. The hotel provides 2 padel courts, tennis, spa treatments, water acrivities and has 2 sauna huts at its own beach.……

“Highlight of our trip! Beautiful hotel, amazing art collection on all the walls, great bar with excellent food (also the best dining of our weeks in Ireland), numerous comfortable lounges and outdoor areas to sit and walk…. I hope we’ll return”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……

“Great hotel. Room was compact but well equipped with everything you need. Don’t expect big closets and lots of room for luggage etc. This hotel is right in center of Dublin so great to walk to all of the attractions. I only rate it 4* because of the fact that parking is 100m away in a public carpark, and lugging cases to and fro was a bit of pain.”
