We picked this place to stay with our two teen children so they could each have their own room, we had a rental car and parking is on the property, and it’s fairly close to downtown. It’s situated in a nice quiet family friendly neighborhood. Rather than try parking downtown we left the car there and took taxis to and from the Latin Quarter, which is about a 10 minute ride. "This hotel is a gem and one of the highlights of our trip! The location is simply gorgeous, and the drive along the Sky Road to get there was particularly memorable, with incredible ocean views. The castle is beautiful and full of history. The owner does a fantastic job of sharing some of it every evening during a free get-together with drinks. The staff shows great attention to detail, high-quality standards, and an incredible culture of fun and care that we have not seen anywhere else. Brian, the owner, also made the evening stand out with an incredible dinner atmosphere followed by delightful conversations on the patio at sunset with a group of customers. It is such a unique, elegant, fun, and welcoming hotel. We will be back!"
