「The Host emailed clear directions to get to the property. On arrival, we couldnt fault the cleanliness or believe how spacious it was. Just perfect for my large tribe.The beach and nearby shops were easy to walk to 10-15 mins.We were lucky enough to have brilliant days so beach and swimming everyday.Kitchen facilities and outdoor BBQ was awesome as we shopped for a small grocery items such as breakfast and a few dinners. Was lovely to read about the families beginnings and how Turou Retreat came...

「Fabulous house right on the beach with private pool. Large outdoor area with heaps of lounge chairs and outdoor seating, perfect for our big family. Kayaks and good selection of snorkelling gear available. Big kitchen with 2 large fridges and a chest freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and large selection of crockery and utensils, perfect for a self-catering holiday. The beach was excellent.」

「The cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Each bedroom had its own lock and the layout of the house was fabulous, with the lounge and kitchen in the middle. Was great having two full bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower on both bedroom wings of the house. The gardens were just blissful to sit, sunbathe and read in. The beach hut was a fabulous addition and we spent hours using the kayaks and paddle board. Connie’s thoughtfulness of all the small additions in the house was so appreciated....

「The laundry was very well equipped with Washing machine and dryer and washing powder.The pool was lovely but small and only comfortably held 3 people but the children loved it and the inflatables which were left for use.The rooms were very spacious including large bedrooms.The kitchen was well equipped as well and the only thing to comment on was that there was only 3 teaspoons, I was going to buy some more but didn’t get to the shops. The only thing that was missing was a hair dryer which...

「An excellent place to stay. Well facilitated, peaceful, and spacious. Our host Neil was lovely to chat with and gave us heaps of tips about places to eat, things to watch out for and things to do. We nicknamed him "The Oracle of Raro". We'd stay there again without a moment's thought.」

「Beautiful home, very spacious for our family of 7 adults & 3children. We loved the sheltered outdoor bbq and pool area that our family greatly enjoyed on a daily basis. Great location, close to airport, Punanga Nui Market and beaches. Grandchildren enjoyed watching the planes landing and taking off. Janet was quick to attend to the small issues we had. Had a wonderful time. 」

「Location was perfect but drunk older women yelling all night until 3 am was a bit much. Advice was to lock all doors and windows because of petty thieves but at least 3 windows didn't close let alone lock. Very clean, comfortable beds but owners need to spend some money on basic handyman updates. Oh and fix the pool deck and add a paddle so the kayaks can be used to full advantage,」
