First off one must remember this is a historical building, therefore the stairs are steep, the handrails low and floors creak, so you have an idea of what to expect. The place was clean, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious with and we shared a table with a nice couple. The location was fantastic, easy walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame and The Otesaga Resort which is lovely place for a drink with a fantastic view.

We loved the history of the property and enjoyed the experience of staying in a historic building. The breakfast was top notch, fresh, local and in two charming breakfast rooms. At check-in the manager carried both of our 50 bags up the stairs to our room for us and shared a lot of the hotel history. Just off Main Street, walking distance to Baseball HOF, shops, and restaurants. Two thumbs up!

We had never been to Cooperstown, and I think we lucked out to get this property at the fair price we did. It is a great location. We walked most places we visited. The staff was great and the breakfast was a cut above the average breakfast included on most properties. Sitting on the front porch in the evening was very nice. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
