We enjoyed the place and the central location for going up and down the coast from this location. Host was nice and even shared some of her bounty of her fruit and vegetable garden with us!

The house is very spacious. The owner was very nice and gave us some ideas of things to do. They also allowed us to use the crab pots and clamming gear from the garage. It’s a perfect location just outside of town. Close to the marina, beaches and 10 mins to town.

Helpful Host, Great Location

Water views were excellent, yard perfect for our small dog, host was gracious- we had a sudden departure need 2 days early and she welcomed us to use the dates at a different time. Beautiful front garden with flowers, and really can't beat this location - close to beaches and town!

Great Place !!

We were very comfortable in Lou's house, two livingrooms, great kitchen and did quite a bit of cooking while there, beds comfortable. Gorgeous views too. Lots of parking too.

Barview getaway

This is a cozy place that will accommodate 7-9 people comfortably in quiet area just minutes from Charleston and Bastendorff beach. The view of the bay is lovely and the owners communicate well. House is secure and private...we even had karaoke going on Saturday night and the privacy was sufficuent to not disturb anyone nearby. Thanks for a great stay!

Incredible View!!!

Very comfortable house with a fantastic view of the bay from the living room and 2 front bedrooms. The 3 of us were very comfortable but the house can easily fit more with the living room and a big family room. I will definitely look to rent this again for another wonderful Mother's Day weekend with my adult children.

Enjoyed our stay

This home is spacious and clean with a beautiful view of Coos Bay. We had plenty of room to talk and visit with each other while boats passed by on the bay. There were lots of pots, pans, and baking things in the kitchen, which made making large meals easy. We liked being 15 min away from town and the beach state parks. Thank you!

Home away from home

We stayed in this lovely home while having work done in our home. This home provided everything you would need to feel like you are home. The host were great. The home is very spacious with a spectacular view of the bay and a great distance from all there is to do in Coos Bay. Losts of games in the pantry for the family to enjoy. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Perfect!!

Was in Coos Bay to celebrate our daughters graduation from OIMB with family and friends. The house location was perfect! Very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The two living rooms worked very well and we were very comfortable staying here. Highly recommend and thank you!

Crabbing weekend

We had a great time in Charleston and our stay at Lou's was great. They had a freezer, loaner rubber boots, crab rings, etc. The home was very clean and well appointed.

Absolutely Beautiful

My family and I loved Lou’s! The views and gardens are spectacular! It was in a perfect location. Everything you could possibly want to visit is very close by. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect size. The view from the front living area was beautiful! Kitchen was a very nice size with eat in room and all amenities you could need. One of my favorite spaces was the back living area. It was huge, bright and oh so comfy! We truly hope to visit again!

Wyoming Review

I hate to give the great review that it deserves, because then it won't be available when I want to stay here. This property was perfect for our needs. The kitchen is well equipped. The smaller living room has such a great view that we spent most of our inside time there. Karen and Andy were very congenial hosts and made us feel very welcome. One great aspect is the spacious parking and a garage to store outside stuff in. The gardens and yard are beautiful.

Multi generational girls trip !

Omg this is such a special place! Space for everyone, well equipped kitchen amazing views . Not to mention the landscaping. But what really stands out at this place is the hosts . By far the most gracious personal host I have ever encountered. Andy is the best and his mother Bettie . They created an experience for me and my family that I will always remember. Nice house

The house was really nice and very spacious. Very nice view of the bay. The house wasn’t completely stocked when we arrived but the owner was there to give us the few things that needed to be provided. Overall cleanliness left a little to be desired. WiFi is spotty at best as there is no modem or router in the house it is fed with WiFi extenders from the owners house. We would go back just because of the size and set up for a bigger family but will definitely explore more options if we go back to the coast. We also ran out of hot water after 2 baths for the kids and definitely had to wait a while before the hot water was available.

The perfect space

I am reluctantly leaving this review as I would love to have this place as my own secret getaway! I absolutely loved this property. The house was large enough to accommodate my husband, myself our 3 teens and pets. I loved the view and the fenced yard. I was able to prepare meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed. We were able to do laundry after crabbing and fishing and there was enough parking for our cars and boat. I enjoyed the view of the bay while sipping coffee and was so thankful for a separate living room for the kids to game and what movies. Karen, our host, was so very accommodating and friendly. She was on site if we needed her but you would have never have known because I only saw her when I reached out. I will absolutely be coming back. Five stars and more!

Spacious, comfortable with lovely garden for the whole family!

The managers are on site and were very helpful and friendly. The flower gardens were stunning as was the bay view sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sleeping options could accommodate a large family. the location was perfect for us; fishing charters, beaches, botanical garden and Cap Argo. We will stay here again!
