"We arrived at the house and Massimo showed us the apartment that we were to stay in. At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area. We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors. Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok. "Possibly the most beautiful apartment we have ever stayed in. Kitchen was so well equipped, I had everything I needed to prepare and cook meals. The bedroom had beautiful linens and lots of closet and drawer space for clothes. A nice patio for enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the afternoon. Easy parking outside and a 15 minute drive to the beach. Hosts were very hospitable and responded immediately to our questions. Bike rental 300 meters down the road. "

"My room was spacious and even though the hotel is within the walled area of Lecce, it can still be reached by taxi. The only negative are the stars, but the owner is helpful and friendly and i'm sure would give a hand with the luggage. There are two excellent restaurants that are part of the hotel complex."
