“We really enjoyed our stay at Alta Vista. Our villa was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were separate bathrooms (with showers) for each bedroom, which was really convenient. The highlight was the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific that we watched each evening from our private plunge pool. We grew fond of the brightly colored pair of scarlet macaws living nearby (and frequently flying over us). What could be more "pura vida" than that?”

“This home is AMAZING! It is exactly as pictured and was perfect for our group. There were two families (eight people total) with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The AC is cold (huge bonus) and the decor is beautiful. The pool and slide were the main attraction for the kids! It is SO close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio so plenty of restaurants, activities, bars, grocery stores, etc. SUCH a great location. Maria was super helpful and quick to respond to any and all of our questions. I would……

“Our family of 7 stayed here comfortably. It was clean and in a great location with gorgeous views! It is walking distance to many restaurants and souvenir shops. The shuttle to the beach was very convenient! Emiliano was our concierge and he was great, communicated clearly and ensured we had everything we needed. One thing to note is you get all the Tulemar resort amenities, including room service, shuttle service, and beach service (free boogie boards, lounge chairs, umbrellas, etc). This……

“This house has it all: an incredible view of the Pacific, privacy, beautiful and comfortable furnishings, and amenities. The outdoor space is breathtaking. The first day we stayed, we saw a monkey in the trees and toucans on the branches. We also spotted a hungry iguana and a mama deer and her baby. The house was incredibly clean, and the beach items were so helpful! (Beach bag, boogie boards, etc.) Also, they have binoculars which we used daily to watch for wildlife! “Being able to sit out on the covered patio and watch the monkeys move through the trees and listen to the rainforest in the evenings. ”

“We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. David, the Manager, was WONDERFUL with communication and photos showing us where to park, how to gain entrance and get to our rooms……

“Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. ”

Besides the fact that the villa was in an excellent location with incredible views, the property was kept clean and any questions or issues we had during our stay were addressed immediately by an incredibly helpful and attentive host.
