“The hotel is delightful, the grounds beautiful, the spa excellent, and the staff superb.”

“Arrived at 2 pm, front desk asked us to come back at 3, eventually checked-in at 3 ish, front desk informed that the Spa closes at 4:30. Rushed to the Spa straight after check-in, and the woman at Spa told us the Spa closes at 3:45 instead because they need time to "clean-up". So we ended up spending 15 mins at the Spa.. Went to the Spa next morning, only to find out the Spa was closed the whole day due to "maintenance"! Complained to the front desk when checked-out, and the lady said "well,……

“Very well appointed and modern rooms forming extension to Uptop House behind York Cottage. Great for stop off on longer journey but not clearly visible from main road. Breakfast by arrangement. Owners very helpful.”

It’s not ostentatious but super comfortable and high quality. The spa area was a fantastic treat. The food in Blossoms was outstanding. The team were discreet, yet warm and friendly. I couldn’t fault a single thing.”
