There was a wedding the second night we stayed so it was really loud and the hotel management didn't seem to care about th disturbance. The hotel itself and the restaurant was lovely, we just happened to stay at the wrong time. I'd stay there again and hope for the best.

Very friendly , helpful staff (fromUruguay) , delicious food in restaurants, spotless room and comfortable bed in very quiet end of the hotel . Interior design was modern but married seamlessly with the Victorian grandeur . We will certainly return !

Nice hotel just out of city center. It use to be an old hospital and has much charm. The patio was open for dinner and drinks. The staff were very accommodating when we needed to request a room nearer the elevator. Breakfast included cook to order options and was very delicious. Recommend requesting a room near elevator if its required as not all rooms are accessible without stairs or some steps involved.

Historic hotel with charm. The good: free parking, a gym onsite, good pillows, big windows and high ceilings, coffee maker. The ‘could be improved’: my room was large but aspects felt dated - carpet and walls had seen better days/scuffed and stained, daily room clean was just beds remade and new towels, coffee pods weren’t replenished everyday. The bad: WiFi didn’t work in my room, I had to go to the lobby to access it - not ideal for getting work done, also, Expedia lists ‘laundry facilities’ but that apparently only meant they can send out your items, expensively, to be laundered. Overall, I would consider staying again, but felt that for the price, the details could have been to a higher standard.

Night desk staff lady surly and passive-aggressive. The pre-purchased breakfast was terrible. Pastries were obviously mass-produced. The fruit cocktail was sour for 2 days. Service was spotty, especially in the am. Dinner was a bright spot.
