Great location, House needs serious attention
The location was great. Short walk to the beach. The communication with the property manager and check in we’re great.
However the house a real disappointment. The lawn was terribly overgrown, the landscape was disastrous, and there was litter all around the perimeter of the property. There was no hose to rinse off our feet after the return from the beach. The Fossett on the table outside leaked and sprayed all over the place. Inside the house, the beds were terribly uncomfortable. There was a note that said the dishwasher was broken and the TV in the main living area did not work. So to gather around for a nice evening we had to crowd the whole family into the very small Dan on the middle floor. There were no basic amenities that I have had at all other beach houses, such as, towels and washcloths for the kitchen, toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap. Many of the lightbulbs were out with no back up supplies. The straw broom was ancient and difficult to clean the floors. The counter in the master bathroom isn’t even attached to the wall. The shower is literally the smallest shower I’ve ever been in. And the advertise hot tub in the master bedroom had a large hole in it.
To be fair, it was a late reservation. I reserved this in February. One of the few houses left for that week. If you are looking for a bargain beach house, you could consider this. But beware you are getting bargain!
