Brand new home for 2018 in Ocean Lakes (Section O of Ocean Sands). Six bedroom, five and a half bath reverse floor plan with ocean views. Ground floor contains a spacious game room with large 55" TV, one bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed plus a twin over twin bunk bed, full bath and laundry room with front loading high efficiency washer and dryer. Ground level access to car port from rec room. Private 13x26 pool with plenty of deck space and outdoor shower. Second level contains four bedrooms; One king master with private bath, one queen with private bath, one queen with shared bath and one room with two twin beds with shared bath. All bedrooms on the second level have outdoor access to a deck and their own wall mounted flat screen tv's. Third level is the beautiful kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, living room with half bath and a covered porch to relax on. Master bedroom with king size bed, private bath and access direct to deck. This home is just a short two minute stroll to the beach access. Also includes guest membership to Ocean Lakes Swim and Tennis Club just a short walk from home.
We provide sheet and towel service EXCLUDING beach towels. (all sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and kitchen towels—beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in the bedrooms).

Premises is restricted to use by Family Groups Only. A family group is defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing in one home. A non-family group is defined as gathering for an event,
unmarried young adults, high school students, college students or any non-family group. EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED: Chaperoned or un-chaperoned non-family groups, fraternities, school or civic groups. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

This neighborhood does not allow golf carts.
Minimum age of 24 required.
Outdoor security cameras that record audio/video will be in use during your stay, located at front door, driveway/carport.

Long weekend stay. Two blocks from beach access, lake view. Nice pool. Hot tub came in handy. Nicely decorated and equipped. Neighborhood very convenient.

Great location

The location was as stated close to the beach. You had a small view of the ocean and the sound. The pool and hot tub were great! There were beach chairs and some beach gear at the house. If you cook, there are plenty of pots and pans. Make sure you bring your own spices as everything is cleaned out completely after each client leaves. Overall a very spacious house and an enjoyable experience.

Family Vacation at the Beach

We had a great time! The house was awesome - spacious with room for all of us! We all enjoyed the pool and it was just a short walk to the beach! The only downside was the noise generated by the family staying at the house with a pool right behind us, but even that wasn't that bad. The one suggestion we all had was that the house needs hooks to hang towels and clothing - particularly in the outside shower! Other than that, we all loved it!

Overall good with a few hiccups

The property was not ready at 4pm for checkin. Upon checkin we observed water leaking from the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. Communicated accordingly and the manager sent the cleaning person to assess the issue. The electrician came in same evening and shut the water off. Plumber came by a few days later to fix the waterline. The stay was good with a two block walk to the beach. The house is surrounded by other houses in the community. We requested a later than 10am checkout but were denied. Contractors arrived about 8am on the morning of checkout to fix the ceiling and cleaning people arrived at 9am that morning so we left even earlier than we were supposed to.

Our stay!

We had a great time at this property, location is perfect to the beach and all the stores and restaurants. My only complaint is the cobwebs all over the house and the decks. I know spiders like to live outside and it's hard to avoid but they are everywhere! Overall would definitely stay again and thanks for being a great host!

Very nice house in the OBX

This house worked out great for our family of all different ages. Booking and communication was top notch. Would definitely stay/book again. My only suggestion would be to make sure to bring baby gates for young kids to help keep them off the stairs.

Great location and communication

House worked very well for our family. Close proximity to the beach, to Corolla, Timbuk II and Duck enhanced our stay. Well stocked kitchen made it possible for us to fix meals on several mornings/evenings as well. Only downside was the closeness of the houses on either side and behind which virtually eliminated privacy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the couch in the main living area is stained/worn but we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great Stay In May

Had a good time. Agree with other reviews that property is really close to other houses. It's not so bad though if everyone respects noise levels. Stayed next to a group of teens who were quite loud at night. Harris Teeter is 1.5 miles away. Walmart and Starbucks are 15 miles away (not too bad). Quiet and clean neighborhood. Beach is really close and clean. House was clean. Pool was clean. Rebecca was awesome! Will return soon!

"Framily time"

Love the location. Minor things needed to be done like needing a broom, light bulbs for bathrooms, etc. May be time to change the light colored couch and making sure cleaning crew is cleaning behind cushions and chairs. Overall it was a great trip and house. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Nearly new house. Nice layout. Gathering area somewhat small. Pool small. No hot tub. Biggest negative is that the house is surrounded by other houses close by. For that single reason, won’t rent again

Perfect sized house for 13 people ages 11 to 75. <5 minute walk to beach. More of a neighborhood feel than an isolated house but we’re used to Ocean City NJ so we felt right at home. Rebecca was available in less than a minute whenever we needed her to communicate with her. Highly recommend.
