The location was great - loved having the beach access walkway right next to the house. The interior had a great layout and was clean. Loved the decor in the updated rooms. The pool was a great size. Would have loved a gas grill - or even a cleaned charcoal grill. Unfortunately, the screened in porch was unusable, unless we wanted to vacuum/wipe down the sofa, carpet, ceilings.etc. Covered in dead bugs and live spiders. I understand that bugs are part of nature and they will always come back. I have no problem with daily cleaning - but I would like to start with a clean area. All of the outside chairs and tables were literally covered in dead bugs - when we checked in. We visited a friend’s oceanfront house, rented through a different company, and her exterior areas were clean at check in - so it can be done. With better exterior maintenance, this would be a perfect family rental.

We really enjoyed the pool and beach. The house is within easy walking distance to the beach and had plenty of space for all 11 of us in the family room/kitchen/dining room. Nice size beds too.

Great stay

The house is in a great location- one block from the beach and right next to the beach access walkway. (Which is great because the beach walkways are spread out). The house is also in biking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the lighthouse. The home was clean and the new renovations were done well. The pool area was great and the pool size was perfect. Overall we were very happy with the home and would rent again/ recommend it to family and friends. Pros: cleanliness, location, pool size, newly renovated, layout, ocean view from kitchen Cons: the grassy area by the horseshoes could use a little love, the pool area could use an umbrella for added shade, and the pool could have used a quick vacuum mid week (caterpillars love the pool)
