TJ's Beach Bungalow is your dog-friendly and family-friendly retreat located on the oceanside in Corolla Bay. This beautiful coastal-themed home has everything you need for a fun, relaxing, and memory-filled Outer Banks vacation, including thoughtful disability-friendly features designed to make your stay more comfortable and convenient. The Corolla beaches are just a short walk away where you can spend your days basking in the sun, searching for seashells and sea glass, swimming, surfing, or enjoying peaceful walks along the shore. Back at the house, you and your dogs can unwind in your own fenced backyard oasis featuring a private pool (pool heat available for an additional fee) and hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

The top-level great room offers the ideal gathering space to watch TV, prepare favorite meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and enjoy dining together while sharing stories from the day's adventures. For rainy days or downtime, the lower-level rec room provides a cozy spot to watch sports or movies and includes a wet bar with a mini-fridge and microwave so snacks and drinks are always close by. When it's time to recharge, the mid-level features a king en-suite bedroom with a private deck, along with a queen bedroom and pyramid bunk room. The lower level includes two twin beds, giving everyone a comfortable place to rest and relax.

Designed with accessibility in mind, TJ's Beach Bungalow features an elevator with access to all levels, making groceries, luggage, and mobility throughout the home easier and more convenient. Grab bars in the bathrooms provide additional support and comfort, helping guests of varying mobility needs enjoy a more accommodating stay.

Exploring the area: Corolla Bay community offers sidewalks, a swimming pool, a bathhouse, shuffleboard, horseshoes, playground and picnic areas. Located in the heart of Corolla you are within driving distance of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Historic Corolla Park and Corolla Village, and the four-wheel drive beaches as well as many local restaurants, shops, and other outdoor activities.

Beach Access: Head right out of the Corolla Bay neighborhood onto Herring Street. The raised access walkway is at the end of the street and provides easy access to beach!

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee. Parking for 2 Cars.

Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day.

Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October.
Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
