There were both living and dead cockroaches on the first floor. We told management. A fairly musty smell on the first floor as well. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Family Reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the minute we arrived the exterior of the home was very impressive. The large driveway easily parked 3 cars. We loved the proximity to the beach entrance and exit ramps as well as the pool which was steps away. The layout of the home and the large kitchen were perfect for our group of 10. However, the home is in need of some deep cleaning and repairs. The minute we opened the door we could smell mold. I do realize being near the sea this is common, but there is mold growing on the inside of the 3rd floor bedroom windows. In the 3rd floor bathroom, master bathroom and first floor bathroom the towel fixtures were barely hanging onto the wall which made it difficult to replace the towels upon washing your hands. The master shower fixture is also pulled out of the tile making it hard to adjust the shower height. All of the rugs in the home were very stained and worn. The 3rd floor hot tub constantly drips making sitting on the 1st and 2nd decks impossible without being dripped on by moldy water. Mold can again be seen on the decks as well as the ceiling of the decks. Our biggest concern was that the home description stated it came with chairs, towels, umbrellas, and beach bags. None of these items were on the property. I called 2 weeks prior to our arrival to ask about how many of these items would be in the home and was assured since the home sleeps 13, 13 would be available. Cinnamon Shores offered to rent us chairs at the south location but the defeated the purpose of being with the rest of our party at the north location. No chairs were available at the north location since it was a holiday week. The 3rd floor AC and ice machine were not working when we arrived. A repairman was dispatched to the home and within 1 hour this was fixed. Each morning we found 1-2 roaches so this was concerning as well. This is a beautiful home, but needs a deep cleaning and an exterminator.

Picked this home because we had a small dog and the location. The house was not for us. Was not clean. Roaches found everywhere, including a bed. No place to put groceries. Pots and Pans have seen better days. Had a great fridge tho! For the price, I expected cleaner and nicer. That has been our experience in the past with Cinnamon Shores.

Perfect Home for a family get together

Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of Apres Sea (next to Keira pool and easy access to the beach), although come the weekend there was a lot of foot traffic in front of the property because of guests going in and out of the pool and there were cars always parked in front of the property. Some guests at the pool were also loud sone late nights. But we enjoyed the house, we had enough space for everyone and it had everything we needed.

The beds were all really bad actually. Also the technology package on all the TVs minus the downstairs projector was tough to use. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay.

The home is beautiful and right next door to the pool which was a plus. The only negative about the location is the noise level from people exiting the beach. We have visited Cinnamon Shore many times and it seemed the golf cart noise level and speed was very amped up this time.All in all we had a great time and wonderful celebration. We will be back!

The smell is horrible. I feel bad that the owners of this property are next to a large trash collection site. Haul it somewhere else. I’m sure it increases insects and rodents as it contains trash from pool food and beverage service.

They did provide a window unit in the bedroom on the main level, which cooled off the bedroom. However, the kitchen and living room were essentially unusable due to the heat levels outside. I wish I could give the house great reviews, because other than the AC it was fine. In the summer heat though, AC is a basic necessity.

Very nice house, a couple of problems

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice and comfortable with lots of space for kids or multiple families. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The location is just across the street from the beach with a peak at the ocean from the top floor. The sonos system is on a separate wifi network and you are not given the password for that network so you will not be able to use the sonos system. The house had a pungent musty smell that was quite pervasive. Rooms let light in early in the morning so it is good if you are an early riser (and not good if you are not). Half of the jets in the hot tub are not functional and it has definitely seen better days. All in all it is a very nice house but considerably over priced and having stayed in several homes in Cinnamon Shores you can certainly find better value for your money.
