The perfect spot for a multi-family vacation or group retreat, our 3BR/3BA house is in the desirable Lost Colony community, and features community pool access and a private boardwalk to the beach. The perfect spot for a multi-family vacation or group retreat, our 3BR/3BA house is in the desirable Lost Colony community, and features community pool access and a private boardwalk to the beach. Also enjoy an expansive deck area with views of a sweeping green lawn, plus a shaded patio! The whole group can kick up their heels in the beachy open-concept living area, with canted ceilings and lots of entertainment. Watch a film on the TV, or just relax while you discuss the day’s plans—that is, if your plans go beyond lounging on the beach! Catch some extra rays on one of the Adirondack chairs on the deck, where you can peer at the ocean in the distance. The down stairs room does not have access from the inside to the upstairs home. You will have to go outside and walk up the stairs to get to the rest of the home.

The full kitchen is open to the living space, making it easy to keep an eye on the kids or keep the conversation flowing while you prepare a meal. Enjoy your meals at the dining table with seating for 6, or at the picnic benches on either the upper deck or the shaded patio.

As for sleeping quarters, Mom, Dad, and the grandparents can rest easy in the upstairs master suite and 2nd bedroom while the kids have a grand time in their private lower unit apartment. Between the full bunk beds, daybed, and futon, there’s room for 7 to sleep comfortably there.

Below average stay. Close to beach, but lacked items.

We recently stayed here for four nights and unfortunately, our experience was not great. Our biggest issue was that we messaged the owner 3 days before the trip to confirm there was a grill. Owner confirmed there was a grill. On arrival, we discovered that there was no grill. This was disappointing as we were looking forward to grilling during our stay and bought over $150 of meat to grill. We had to buy our own grill, which was unacceptable. Additionally, there was no hose at the property which made cleaning up after days at the beach difficult. Nearly every house in this community had a hose for their guests to use. Not this one! We had to go out of our way to purchase a hose to clean up properly. Unacceptable. Lastly, we found that the house was lacking in dishes for cooking. There were not enough pots, pans, or utensils to cook and eat with. This made meal times frustrating and difficult to manage. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this property to others until these issues are addressed. Especially the lack of a grill and garden hose.
