A. The beach is approximately a 5–7 minute drive, making it easy to enjoy sun and surf without being directly on the shore.

Q. Can I drive on the beach during my stay?
A. Yes! Guests can drive on North Padre Island with a valid beach pass, which can be purchased from most Stripes gas stations and HEB. Make sure to display your pass while on the beach.

Our only complaint was lack of room in closet as it was full of stuff. That & nowhere to put our groceries - cupboards were full of misc. Other than that, nice place, very clean. Neighbors were nice

Excellent stay

The apartment fit our needs very well. Full size washer/dryer was great. We don’t like carpet because of my wife’s allergies so the fact that it had tile and hardwood floors was great. Very nice modern full size appliances and a nice location. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re staying for a week or more.

The condo was great. Loved the decor and the beach vibes. Enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio to the sunrise with the view of the channel. Only thing I did not like about the area which is not the fault of the provider was the stickers that would get stuck in my pets paws. They were every where. Other than that the place was PERFECT!

Comfy spot

This place is clean and located close to the beach. However, while it is on a canal, it is on the end by the street so you have that traffic. The building looks run down on the outside but inside is nice. There is construction going on in front of the boat slips which doesn’t look great. It is the perfect size for a family of 3.

Lovely apartment

Very nice apartment neighbors quiet, only thing that I found was a problem was people do not pick up their dog poop or trash they toss trash in the water or on the roads , we are environmental people the place Padra island is lovely but garbage tossed anywhere is a concern and surely not a visual delight! The beach had trash floating on the seashore, very discouraging!

Very clean, would have like at least 2 more towels. Wish instead of Roku you had cable or dish. Not familiar with Roku and had problems. No TV in the bedroom which we would have like. Overall, those are silly things but was very impressed of the inside. The outside made us wonder what we were in for. Next time it will be a down stairs location for us. We are too old for the stairs. Like the key pad to get in and out of the house.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Located at the end of a canal in a building, which from the outside looked run down and old (including one of the docks that was literally falling apart and unusable), The condo itself was adequate and clean. The furniture was worn but workable. Only my husband and I were staying there. No extra sheets or blankets in the unit which would’ve been nice to have for the couch. The management company was helpful when I called them with questions on check-out/in process. However, simply providing that information upfront and including it in the ‘informational package’ inside the condo (e.g. the fact that the “easy check out link” would be sent via email/text at 7 pm the night prior to check out) would eliminate confusion and the need for a call. Overall, I would pass on this one next time.
