Basement in typical village of Cortina d'Ampezzo, this studio apartment welcomes you to discover the secret wealth of the quiet d silence of the area. Outside meadows and forest, sun and snow. It is a basement apartment, recently renovated and well furnished in alpine style, with underfloor heating. Perfect for a couple or small family, it consists of a living room with well-equipped kitchenette and double bed, walk-in closet and bathroom with tub. It is possible to rent a crib with rails for children under four years old. The apartment has an outdoor parking space. A car is necessary.The tourist tax is not included in the price displayed on the portal.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, located in the heart of the Dolomites, in a wide valley surrounded by beautiful mountains recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is one of the most fascinating mountain resorts in the world. Check in was a bit complex as we had to "meet" at the apartment to get the key and there was WhatsApp communication and advanced planning to align on a time but it worked out reasonably well.We LOVED the apartment and location. The feel of the space and size was perfect for us. It was roomy with a higher ceiling than expected and was a great space for 2 adults and a child. The location on the side of the mountain was amazing and absolutely beautiful!! However, the supplies were quite disappointing for such a high cost. The only thing supplied was "2 rolls of toilet paper". We were expected to bring our own hand soap for the bathroom, supply paper towels, etc. We would have easily given a 5 star rating but for these small which seems very trivial but is frustrating for such a small detail that you would expect when renting an apartment.

Great week in Cortina

Our stay in this studio was great. It is well located in Cortina and has a great view on the mountains.The only thing is that the agency which manage it doesn't showed up on the check off, even though we had agreed on the time the day before.

The apartment provided everything we needed. It was clean and fully equipped with necessary items mainly in the kitchen as we cooked a lot. It was a very roomy apartment overlooking mountains. There was no WiFi, which was important for us to get around and look up information. The host was kind enough to bring us a modem during our stay, however it would be helpful mentioning this in the description of the property (that there is no WiFi). If there was noted to bring 110 V converter it would be helpful. The location was great for our needs in Cortina. The host was responsive and provided detailed info about restaurants etc. Would recommend this property and if we are ever back will rent it again.

A week in Cortina

We spent a week in Cortina at this accommodation which was a great location for us, about 20 minutes walk to the centre of Cortina (downhill). However about 30 minutes on the way back as it is situated quite high up. We loved the location because we were rewarded with the peace we wanted and the stunning 365 degree views of the mountains. The accommodation was cosy, warm and had great facilities for a self catering holiday. Our host Sandra was very helpful. We would highly recommend this accommodation.
