When we entered the building it had a "stale" aroma, which was noticeable and unpleasant. The swimming pool was unavailable. We stayed three days and two nights and housekeeping never made the bed or emptied the garbage cans. Very disappointing.

Wasn't to clean ,noisy, pool closed, fridge in room made a terrible noise all night. Sat in chair in room and it was broken. Last thing that was really gross was sheets on one bed weren't clean or changed from the last stay of people. Won't stay there again.

Where to start. The homeless living behind the hotel are a little different than I’m used too. The other reviews are correct the pool and hot tub have been out of order for years. There were no working ice machines and the bath tub plug wouldn’t seal. Then you put your stuff in the refrigerator but you gotta take someone else’s stuff out first to dispose of. They were accommodating to let us change rooms and went and bought ice. I laughed through the experience as I’ve never seen something this bad in my experience.you can’t make this stuff up. The only thing real is the picture that shows the river behind the hotel it is gorgeous

The check in sucked because Super 8's higher management decided to do a software upgrade in peak hours instead of late at night or early in the morning, not to smart. A good way to chase away customers and profits!

I loved the location of motel.very accessible for downtown and surrounding areas.The Maintenance Man there was super helpful and made me and my wife feel at home.The place needs to be updated.but.other.than that it was a pretty good place.compared to a couple other motels around that price range definitely will stay again..

Bathrooms dirty, stained, damaged. Pool closed. Staff rude and lazy. So called breakfast was non-existent. Couple pieces of cheap white bread, one box of cereal, and a couple apple oatmeal packets. No coffee when we arrived. So gross. We just left rather than get sick. Staff were on phones and ignored our questions about coffee and breakfast. Overall, if there wasn’t only a couple hotels, it would be the worst. Lazy, dirty, and no amenities= 1 star at best. Bed was okay. So I won’t say it’s the worst hotel ever, but it’s close.

This is the 3rd year in a row I've stayed at this hotel and the pool has been closed for repairs each time. I believe it's been closed that entire time, but they still advertise the pool as one of the amenities. The TV in our room wouldn't turn on. I went to take a shower and the water was luke warm at best. Breakfast (if you want to call it that) was very sub-par even by cheap hotel standards. It also cost more than advertised, but that's probably an Expedia issue.

Bed spread was stained and sheets very wrinkled and dingy. furnishings were stained and ratty. We actually left and booked somewhere else. Didn't feel safe.

We stayed in this property a year ago and it was a good economy option. This time the view of the river was obstructed with homeless camps. There was a hallway shouting match with capital crimes threatened at 3 in the morning. Second year the pool was not usable. Too bad because the beds are really comfortable and access to riverside park is right there.

I reserved the hotel for my kids and I because there was free breakfast, a pool and hot tub advertised, however, both the pool and hot tub were both were out of service. Unfortunately, the toilet did not work and someone was smoking cigarettes above us so our room stunk. The room attendants were quick and nice so was the front desk receptionist.

Very dirty room expecially the toilt. Didn't even want to use the shower. Felt very unsafe people all around and inside seemed to be living in and around the hotel.

The motel is really ran down. Pretty stinky. The pool was closed. The rooms were fairly clean it was the rest of the motel that was dirty. The worst part of the place is the tent/ bum city out behind the motel. You have to look past the homeless tents and trailer/vehicles to see the river.

Thanks for rating the Super 8 Corvallis. We do offer breakfast to our guests from 6:30am to 9:30am daily. To accommodate a guests request we have been known to offer this amenity at an earlier time. Our guests satisfaction is very important to us.

Super 8, more like Super Gross!
We were very disappointed with the cleanliness and upkeep on our room. For starters the first thing we noticed when we walked into the room was that the door didn’t close on its own like hotel doors should. This was because it was missing the closing device that is normally attached to the back of the door. As soon as we entered the room we noticed a foul smell that seemed to be the mix of gross carpet smell and chemical that was attempting to cover up the smell. This smell prompted me to go straight to the window to open it to allow some fresh air in. When I got to the window I noticed that the screen had a big hole in it. Looking out the window I could see the river, which was nice, but as I looked down to the parking lot that was right outside the window I noticed multiple homeless camps. One of the owners of these homeless camps felt it necessary “fix” his RV by pounding on it with a hammer for hours in the middle of the night. There were some red spots on the bathroom tub that appeared to be stained as they did not wash off with water. The bath towels had a musty smell. The night stand had damage to the table top. The chair had a stain on it and stuck between the seat cushion and the chair arm was trash that appeared to have been there for a long time. The plate that attached the shower rod to the wall was rusty. Overall the room was not very clean or well taken care of. I would not stay here unless it is an absolute last resort and you don’t care about these things.
