I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in the hallway. I also found insects on the floor. I chose this hotel because of its unusually high ratings, but my actual experience was completely different. I strongly advise other travelers to read the reviews carefully before booking to avoid the same disappointment.

Very clean property. Even had a phone charger in the room that saved my day. A bunch of us stayed in that neighborhood and I felt bad for the friends staying at the Ramada. I had nothing to complain about.

Location was central to a lot of things with a good number of places to eat and get coffee. Staff was very pleasant, property was clean, room was perfect and didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!

We enjoyed our one-night stay! The staff was very nice at check-in. Our room was clean and updated, and the bed was comfy.Loved the shower along with the complimentary toothbrushes and shower cap! We didn't have time for the breakfast but it smelled yummy! We will definitely be back!

I love this hotel, I stay here every time I’m coming to Newport Beach for business. Great customer service, quiet and clean rooms. Easy access to restaurants and the neighborhood is walkable an safe. After a long day at work I like to walk along Santa Isabel St toward the estuary, a nice place. Recommended.

Room was all that we needed, everything worked and beds were well kept. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, but I’m not sure that’d be a deal-breaker anyhow. Staff were courteous and helpful. Big plus was a decent running loop from the place, no traffic issues, neighborhoods just fine.
