"Everything about this place is a little magical and Gloria was the best host in terms of communication and recommendations. Would highly recommend exploring La Paz waterfall gardens and getting to Poas to see the volcano up close that you can see from the house. Also, would highly recommend having Yadi handle any meals as they were delicious and delivered right to the house. Take the time to explore the property and take the trail to the river. It’s a beautiful spot and great place to end our Costa Rica trip. "

"Stayed for two nights. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The lodge is situated close to the river which is good for swimming and has it's own forest reserve. We did two very enjoyable guided walks on the reserve with local guides who were extremely knowledgeable. We stayed in the family room which was rather rustic but plenty big enough for a family of four. The main frustration was the cold shower which didn't get fixed despite reporting on the first day. Breakfast was good, dinner is an optional buffet and is not worth it. "

" Beautiful grounds and property. Extremely helpful staff, fluent in English as our spanish is very elementary. The restaurant is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. The location is in the heart of the city, directly across from what I would call the town square. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!"
